Dellner Couplers operates in the business area rail transport and is a world leader in the manufacture of train connection products. SSAB is a leading global supplier of high-strength steel. SSAB Tunnplåt in Borlänge, has as one of their focuses heavy transports and light vehicles. For the automotive industry, SSAB is known as a specialist in calculations and product development in the field of energy absorption, which is commonly referred to as crashworthiness. The cooperation aims at transferring know-how from SSAB in the field of energy absorption, to Dellner Couplers product segments , coupler and gangways. Dellner Couplers will give SSAB access to the business area and market for rail transports. Both parties sees great advantages to jointly market products as well as company brands to potential customers. For passengers, the cooperation may result in safer journeys.
